Special Edition: Winter Neighborhood Survey

Updates on the Alaska House of Representatives

I hope that you and your family enjoyed a happy new year and are getting through the cold and dark of Fairbanks this month. This special edition newsletter is to notify you of my neighborhood survey, which has been sent to everyone in District 5. If you have not yet filled out the survey and would like to, please check out the link below so that you can share your thoughts on State government with me. I appreciate your feedback!

Right now, there are many unknowns. The makeup of the House majority has yet to be decided for this Legislature, and there is great anticipation over when this will happen and who will be included. Leadership positions also have yet to be determined, so we will have to wait and see how it all pans out in the coming weeks. Hopefully I’ll find myself in the majority. Either way, I plan to make the decisions that best represent Fairbanks and the State as a whole.
I have worked hard during past legislative sessions to represent the issues and interests you have brought to my attention. Next week, I hope to be able to provide more information on what happens here in Juneau. I also hope to share more about my priorities for this session in the coming weeks.

I hope that you will continue to update me with the problems and concerns that you see in your neighborhood, in our city, and in the State. Thank you to all who have stayed in touch.
