House Bill 66 will make it more convenient to vote in Alaska

On Monday, the House Judiciary Committee passed a bill I’m sponsoring to build on the success of the 2020 election in Alaska. Last November’s general election featured the most votes ever cast in an election in Alaska, which is a remarkable achievement considering that we were in the midst of a global pandemic.

Remembering my friend Mike Bradner

On February 27, Mike Brander passed away due to complications from COVID-19. He was a former Speaker of the House and one of Alaska’s legendary journalists. Mike’s passing is a huge loss because he was a statesman who played an instrumental role in guiding and shaping the Alaska we love and cherish.
