Earlier today, the Alaska House of Representatives passed House Bill 76 (HB 76), extending the public health disaster emergency declaration until September 30, 2021.
This week, I was appointed by Speaker of the House Louise Stutes to one of the legislative seats on the Board of Directors of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI). I’m honored by the appointment because I believe in ASMI’s mission to promote Alaska seafood to the world.
This week, Alaska became the first state in the nation to offer any adult a COVID-19 vaccination. Anyone over the age of 16 can get the Pfizer vaccine and anyone over the age of 18 can get the Moderna vaccine or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
