JUNEAU – By a vote of 33-5, the House passed legislation yesterday by Rep. Liz Snyder which would update and define the patient care services that pharmacists and pharmacy support staff can independently provide.

JUNEAU – The Co-Chairs of the House Health and Social Services Committee, along with other members of the Alaska House Coalition, urged caution before rubberstamping Governor Dunleavy’s Executive Order 121.
ANCHORAGE – This morning, a group of legislators sent a letter to the Dunleavy Administration and Department of Health and Social Services requesting an update on federal funding issued during the pandemic whose distribution is being held up by the State.

ANCHORAGE — Following the amendment that the House Minority tacked on to Senate Bill 3006, legislators heard from healthcare workers and the Department of Health and Social Services, who advise that the bill in its current form is more detrimental than beneficial in enabling hospitals to address the COVID emergency. On that advice, the bill will not be sent back to the floor.
