On Monday, April 17, 2023, the Alaska State House of Representatives passed the state operating budget for the fiscal year 2024, which begins July 1 of this year.

oday, March 21st, from 5:15 to 7:15 pm, the House Education Committee will be taking public testimony on House Bill 65 which would increase the Base Student Allocation to adequately fund Alaska’s schools. We must do this.

I will be hosting my first meet-and-greet on Saturday, from 9-10 am, at the Starbucks near the corner of Lake Otis and Tudor. Then on Sunday the full Anchorage Delegation will be hosting a town hall at Rasmuson Hall on the UAA campus from 2-4pm.
