School Bonds: There are 25 schools on this year's bond, and most projects are either roof replacements (which avoid spiraling repair costs later) or security enhancements to make sure kids are safe at school. The two largest projects on the bond are a major renovation at Lake Otis and a building replacement for Inlet View, which are our two oldest schools. These are really important projects--at Inlet View, for example, the decrepit building has had non-functioning toilets, sewage spilling onto the playground, and broken heating systems that force kids to wear puff coats while trying to work inside. That's not acceptable, and please vote yes on school bonds.

Park Bonds: There are a bunch of exciting projects on the parks bond list, including funding to keep the Coastal Trail/Ship Creek and Coastal Trail/Ship Creek connections moving forward, and a much-needed upgrade to Eastchester Park (among many others).
See you around the neighborhood,
Zack
