JUNEAU – By a vote of 33-5, the House passed legislation yesterday by Rep. Liz Snyder which would update and define the patient care services that pharmacists and pharmacy support staff can independently provide.
I am also glad to say that many of the amendments I introduced earlier in the budget process were able to stay in. These amendments addressed recruitment and retention issues across different departments and added additional funding for various services in the Department of Health and Services.

JUNEAU – Rep. Andy Josephson’s bill, which would provide greater assistance to the families of Alaska’s workers permanently injured or killed on the job, passed the House today in a vote of 29-10.
JUNEAU- Last night, Rep. Calvin Schrage’s legislation that would restore campaign contribution limits on politicians and stop out-of-state donors and special interest groups from taking over state and local elections, passed the House Floor with a vote of 21-18.
