Alaska House Coalition is Committed to Fiscally Responsible Budget that Invests in Our State and People

JUNEAU – With the release of the Governor’s FY25 budget today, the Alaska House Coalition stands ready to work with Governor Dunleavy and fellow legislators to get Alaska back on track.

“Working age Alaskans are leaving the state and our workforce is shrinking due to years of chronic underinvestment,” said Minority Leader Calvin Schrage (NA-Anchorage). “In order to grow our economy, and retain and attract working families, it is vital that we make smart investments in critical infrastructure and state services, from snow plowing to education, to get our state back on track. Our coalition looks forward to working with the Governor to make Alaska the best place to start and grow a family.”
