The Capitol came alive as we began our work for another exciting legislative session! This was the first week of the 2nd session of the 32nd legislature. I look forward to working with my colleagues over the next few months to achieve a balanced budget and sound policy for Alaskans and our economy.
JUNEAU – This week, Rep. Chris Tuck (D-Anchorage) and Sen. Mia Costello (R-Anchorage) filed public safety legislation to help ensure that many of the heating systems used to warm buildings in Alaska are safe and in good working order.
This week, legislators returned to Juneau for the regular session. We face many challenges as a state, and moving forward I will continue working with my colleagues in the House and Senate to advocate for fact-based, common-sense solutions to Alaska’s challenges
