House Passes Bill to Increase Cooperation Between Lawmakers

Juneau – Today, the Alaska House of Representatives took a step towards returning to the tradition of allowing lawmakers from different parties and caucuses to jointly sponsor bills and resolutions. House Bill 41 reinstates a long-time practice of allowing members to work together as lead sponsors of important legislation.

Tuesday’s Press Availability Will Include Reps. Tuck, Kawasaki, Spohnholz, and Parish

Juneau – The Alaska House Majority Coalition will hold a press availability Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. to answer questions from reporters covering the 30th Alaska State Legislature. Participants will include House Majority Leader Rep. Chris Tuck (D-Anchorage), House Finance Committee Member Rep. Scott Kawasaki (D-Fairbanks), House Health and Social Services Committee Chair Rep. Ivy Spohnholz (D-Anchorage), and House Community and Regional Affairs Committee Co-Chair Rep. Justin Parish (D-Juneau).
