House Judiciary Committee Accepting Public Input Tonight

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 24, 2017

Juneau – The House Judiciary Committee will accept public testimony tonight on Senate Bill 54, which continues a multi-year effort to reduce corrections costs and Alaska’s high recidivism rate. Members of the public can testify from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. tonight from Legislative Information Offices (LIO) across the state or in person at the State Capitol Building in Juneau. Those that cannot make it to an LIO can testify via teleconference by calling (907) 563-9085 in Anchorage, (907) 586-9085 in Juneau, or toll-free at 844-586-9085 for those calling from outside of Anchorage or Juneau.
