The House passed an operaƟng budget, for a third Ɵme this year, nine days before a shutdown. We prevented the worst cuts proposed by the Senate Majority. They proposed cuts to educaƟon that would have cost the Juneau School District 25 teachers and staff. They proposed cuts that would have closed the Juneau Pioneer Home. They proposed cuts that would have costed your friends and neighbors their jobs.
