Juneau – On Saturday, April 1st, Rep. Scott Kawasaki (D-Fairbanks) will be in Fairbanks to host a final town hall meeting with neighbors. The event will be held in the Fairbanks North Star Borough Building Assembly Chambers from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
The town hall-style meeting will address key issues being discussed by the 30th Alaska State Legislature. Topics will include operating budget priorities, diversifying Alaska’s revenue sources under HB 115, reducing subsidies to oil and gas companies under HB 111, criminal justice reform, and more. Questions from the public are welcomed and encouraged.
