Please don’t forget that I will be back in Anchorage this weekend for two important public meetings which you are invited to attend. Here are the details:
Juneau – Members of the Alaska Legislature who represent the Anchorage area encourage public participation Saturday during the Anchorage Caucus meeting. The meeting, which is traditionally held during the legislative session, gives Anchorage area residents the ability to express their views on issues being considered by the Alaska State Legislature.
I and other legislators will be in Anchorage Saturday for a public meeting, so we can hear from you and share ideas, on Saturday. The meeting will be held at the Anchorage LIO (1500 W Benson Blvd.) from 10:00am to 12:00pm. This meeting will be “open house” style, meaning that after brief opening remarks, legislators will break out to tables assigned by legislative districts. This format will allow for more one-on-one conversations.
This weekend, Anchorage legislators head back to Anchorage for Anchorage Caucus and constituent meetings. Meanwhile, in Juneau, creating a responsible action plan for Alaska remains our top priority. We hope to see you this weekend!
