FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 5, 2017
Juneau – State Representative-Elect Justin Parish (D-Juneau) will be hosting a meeting to gather input from Juneau residents before the 30th Alaska Legislature convenes. The constituent meeting will be on Sunday, January 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the large conference room at the Mendenhall Valley Public Library in Juneau.
“Partisan gridlock has delayed difficult yet necessary decisions to protect our economy, our future, and thousands of Alaskan jobs,” said Rep.-Elect Parish. “I helped form the new House Majority Coalition because Alaskans need a fair, responsible, and comprehensive fiscal plan. I would like to hear from more members of our community about the solutions they think are best for the current crisis. I hope my neighbors will join me on Sunday or at the Legislative Welcome on January 18th at 5 p.m. at Centennial Hall.”
Rep.-Elect Parish will be sworn into office on January 17th, 2017 when the 30th Alaska Legislature convenes.
