JUNEAU – The members of the Alaska Independent Democratic Coalition congratulate Coalition Leader Representative Chris Tuck (D-Anchorage) and talk radio host Bernadette Wilson on the birth of their daughter. Penelope Grace Tuck was born at 7:10 am Sunday morning, April 19.
“We are pleased to welcome a healthy and happy baby girl to our extended Coalition family,” said Alaska Independent Democratic Coalition Floor Leader Rep. Geran Tarr (D-Anchorage). “It’s great that mother and baby are doing well and our Coalition members can’t wait to meet Penelope.”
Penelope Grace Tuck was delivered at home. She started feeding right away and both mother and baby are at home resting.
“It was a perfect birth even though I was not there,” said Rep. Tuck. “I listened to the birth while I was on the plane in Juneau waiting to take off Sunday morning. Penelope Grace is a beautiful combination of the two of us and I can’t wait to get home to spend more time with her.”
Penelope Grace Tuck weighed in at seven pounds, nine ounces was 21 inches long. Her arrival has brought joy to the State Capitol as the session winds down.
