The budget continues to be the largest driver this legislative session. Every department is being carefully scrutinized, and legislators are asking tough questions about the effectiveness of each program. News: Creamer’s Field Expansion Moves from House Resources Committee

Juneau – The House Resources Committee unanimously moved House Bill 70 to expand the Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge out of committee today. This legislation, sponsored by Rep. Adam Wool (D-Fairbanks) and Rep. Scott Kawasaki (D-Fairbanks), would add four state-owned parcels to the popular Fairbanks refuge.
