Fairbanks – Representative Kawasaki will host a town hall meeting in Fairbanks on Sunday March 28. The meeting will be held in the Lathrop High School Cafeteria from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and pizza will be provided. Representative Kawasaki invites Fairbanksans to a discussion on a variety issues including the proposed AK LNG project, education funding and this year’s budget.
“We are in the final stretch of the 28th Legislative Session and bills are moving quickly,” Kawasaki said. “We need to make sure Alaskans’ voices are still heard and that we do our due diligence to pass legislation that is beneficial for all Alaskan families.”
Aside from his regularly scheduled event at the Lathrop High School Cafeteria on Sunday, Representative Kawasaki will attend a number of other events over the weekend. “I encourage anyone who sees me around to stop and say hello.”
