As I work with local and state criminal justice agencies, I will provide another update on criminal justice reform later this summer. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me with your experiences and any questions or comments you have on public safety in your neighborhood.

This Independence Day, I hope you will join me in reflecting on the sacrifice of thousands of people who helped found our nation 242 years ago. We have the oldest constitution in the world, and many countries base their government on ours. We are in forever debt to the millions of service members and supporting civilians and families who have helped protect and defend our nation and constitution ever since. I hope you enjoy a safe holiday with your friends and family.
