32-0 vote sends fast-track supplemental budget to governor’s desk for final approval

JUNEAU – The Alaska House of Representatives on Friday voted unanimously to approve financial aid for communities impacted by the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that shook Southcentral Alaska on November 30.

Senate Bill 38 provides $133.4 million for building and road construction and repairs. Federal money accounts for $103 million of that total, and $30.4 million is state money.
