Town Hall Scheduled Before the Start of the Fourth Special Session on October 23rd

ANCHORAGE – Legislators from Midtown Anchorage have scheduled a town hall meeting on Monday, October 16, to discuss legislative priorities with constituents before the delegation heads to Juneau for the fourth special session. Governor Walker has put a revenue generating head tax, and a fix to Senate Bill 91 (SB 91), the omnibus crime bill, on the call. Your legislators recognize the urgency of tackling both these issues and are ready to discuss and listen.
The public and press are welcomed to attend the town hall which will be hosted by Senate Democratic Leader Berta Gardner (D), Rep. Harriet Drummond (D), and Rep. Andy Josephson (D) – who represent Anchorage Midtown, Spenard, and the U-Med district.
Water and a light snack will be provided.
