Public testimony on crime bills -- TOMORROW!
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I know the crime bills (SB91/SB54) have been on a lot of minds lately. Down in Juneau, the House is holding many a hearing on these bills and, although we’ve heard from several of you in recent public meetings and town halls, we would love to hear official public testimony. The House Finance Committee will be meeting on Saturday, October 28th from 10 am to 5 pm (with public testimony starting at 11 am) and Monday, October 30th from 5 to 9 pm; during these times you can testify in person (in Juneau) or via teleconference (statewide). Please see below for instructions on how to testify.
In Person: State Capitol Building, 120 East 4th St., Juneau—or at your local LIO
Telephonically: 1-844-586-9085, indicate you wish to testify at the House Finance hearing on SB91/SB54.
