Dear Friends and Neighbors,

One of the ways we hear from West Anchorage friends and neighbors is our constituent survey. As we move forward with the 90 day session, we look forward to your responses.

Please Respond to the Constituent Survey

Please take a moment to share your thoughts and suggestions. You can complete a written survey by returning the survey pages from our printed newsletter or complete an electronic survey here.  (The questions are the same on both surveys.)

Author John Straley Honored by State Legislature

Last Friday, the House gave long-time Alaskan John Straley a citation honoring his three plus decades of service to the State of Alaska. John is a long-time friend and he’s well-deserving of this honor.  He spent three decades as an investigator, and has written over 20 books. His passion for poetry and mystery writing earned him recognition as Alaska’s State Writer Laureate in 2006. Representative Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins said it best. “With John, it always comes from the heart and it has for his entire life.” Read more here, including my tribute to John Straley.

As always, please let us know if you have any question or concerns.

Sincerely,

signed: Matt Claman
