Tom Begich and myself, this annual event brings together educators, school board members, criminal justice leaders, school district officials, parents and non-profits to share best practices that can be useful in schools and every day life.

NEWS: House Resources Schedules Hearing on Alaska LNG Project

Anchorage – The House Resources Committee Co-Chairs, Representative Geran Tarr (D-Anchorage) and Representative Andy Josephson (D-Anchorage), have noticed a committee hearing on December 4th at 6 p.m. to get an update from the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation on the Alaska LNG project.

NEWS: Public Testimony Tonight on Efforts at Further Criminal Justice Reform

Juneau – The House Judiciary Committee will accept public testimony tonight on Senate Bill 54, which continues a multi-year effort to reduce corrections costs and Alaska’s high recidivism rate. Members of the public can testify from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. tonight from Legislative Information Offices (LIO) across the state or in person at the State Capitol Building in Juneau.
