ANCHORAGE – Sen. Cathy Giessel (R-Anchorage), chair of the Senate Resources Committee, and Rep. Geran Tarr (D-Anchorage), co-chair of the House Resources Committee, this week noticed a joint committee hearing to update the public on the status of the Alaska LNG Project.
The Alaska LNG Project was initially authorized in 2014 by the passage of Senate Bill 138. Senate Bill 138 requires that updates be presented to the Alaska Legislature and the public. The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) will be the lead presenter. The public is invited to attend in-person or to listen via the Legislature’s website: http://akl.tv
